Our work focuses on helping our clients to design and deliver projects that will achieve the best possible results.  We offer a number of services, including:

• Digital Vision, Strategy and Planning

  We help our clients think about what it is they want to achieve for their organisation over the next five to ten years.  By following our approach, they begin to realise the enormous opportunities presented by emerging technologies and new infrastructure.  From web 2.0 to Next Generation Access, our consultants are at the forefront of developments for digital city planning.

• Programme and Project Management

  All of our projects are managed by experienced PRINCE 2 Registered practitioners.  We also offer Project and Programme Management as a separate service and can manage projects on our clients behalf using their own development team.

• Digital Inclusion

  Clicks and Links has been connecting communities since 2000 and it's an area very close to our heart.  A third of the UK population are still digital excluded and this is something we want to see addressed.  We were involved recently in the UK Government's Digital Inclusion Action Plan consultation where we produced a research report into the use of Social Networking Sites as an opportunity to provide greater digital equality.

• Energy Efficiency Solutions

  Clicks and Links is an active partner in Green Shift, a Government task force led by Manchester City Council which brings together public, private and voluntary organisations in a common programme to maximise the effectiveness of IT in achieving 2020 emissions targets.  One of the first projects to come out of Green Shift is the Digital Environment Home Energy Management System where Clicks and Links leads on the Evaluation and Dissemination work package as well as undertaking programme management across 14 partners.  We have gained extensive knowledge about Green IT and sustainable living issues.  We can therefore help your organisation to become more energy efficient by adopting Green IT strategies.

• Transformational Government

  Clicks and Links is a Government Gateway Alliance Partner and we work closely with government departments and local authorities on transformational government initiatives.  We have a keen grasp of the issues facing central and local government and can provide an alternative viewpoint to help your public organisation transform to achieve efficiency savings and make better use of technology.

• Open Source

  Our technical consultants can scope out and define your requirements for open source systems.  We have delivered open source consultancy services to both central government, local authorities and community groups and have enormous experience in this area.  We can ensure that you are able to make use of the very latest web 2.0 and other technologies and what's more, if required we can build them for you.  Our full open source services includes implementations, customisation, support and hosting and training.
