Background
Oncampus is the exclusive provider of student media for more than half of all the Student Unions in the UK. Oncampus currently has access to 900,000 students and reaches 200,000 unique users per month.
Clicks and Links has provided OpenCms consultancy services for OnCampus since 2007. As a result OnCampus has single OpenCms platform powering over 200 student union websites as well as bespoken easy to use content management interface that enables student unions to update their web content with minimum training based on online user guides.
Brief
OnCampus required enterprise authoring system that could be easily rolled out to all student unions they supply. They had shortlisted OpenCms as potential core engine for this project and involved Clicks and Links as OpenCms experts to deploy and develop their ideas to solution.
Solution
Setup and configuration of highly resilient and scalable OpenCms web authoring environment. Development of bespoken extensions to OpenCms such as easy to edit content authoring suite.
