Greater Manchester Portal (GMeP)
Clicks and Links worked with the Greater Manchester e-Government Partnership (GMeP) to design and build the new Greater Manchester Online website, launched on the 20th June 2003. The website will ultimately provide a single point of access for the ten Greater Manchester local authorities and five area wide public services helping visitors, businesses and residents quickly and efficiently search for information they need on the sub-region.
Phase 1: Website design.
This involved: initial scoping and requirements gathering; sample design and navigation map preparation and build and rework using a rapid iteration cycle. Final design used a fusion of multi-media and static HTML to create a site that was also compliant with Bobby requirements.

Phase 2: Website re-build and launch.
This involved: re-design based on new requirements; complex image manipulation; content transformation into an online format using our Roundabout 2 content management system and build and testing.
Ongoing hosting, support and website development.
Based on our analysis of website usage, we plan to further tailor the site so that under-utilised areas are improved and highly used areas are maximised, copying effective features throughout the website.
