Design Lecture: Factory and The Hacienda

Urbis and D&AD proudly present a key note lecture from Peter Saville and Ben Kelly, two of the seminal designers responsible for creating a Manchester aesthetic which invaded the British high street in the mid 1980s. Its influence continues to be seen both there and across the world today.

This event ran in Second Life Urbis and drew a healthy audience of avatars wanting to hear about the work and experiences of the influential designers. Questions were streamed into the event giving a true interactive and global Second Life / Real Life experience.
