Helping you to Build your Second Life
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra - Opening Flourish
To celebrate the opening of the new season of events the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra was proud to present the first professional Orchestra performance in Second Life.
SL avatars of the conductor Vasily Petrenko led the orchestra, which performed via live streamed video into Second Life. Soloist Kate Royal appeared as an avatar as well as composer Kenneth Hesketh. The event took place in the Second Life version of the concert hall. The video on this page gives a sneak preview of the building and an overview of it's construction.
After the performance, the avatars joined Second Life visitors at a special reception.
Tickets for the online event were limited to 100 Second Life tickets, making it a very special occasion, and not one that should have been missed!
